Insightful view of MPAA - Americas rating system

Funny, thrilling, entertaining and insightful documentary from daring documentarist Kirby Dick (Sick: The Life & Death of Bob Flanagan, Supermasochist). Sometimes it is hard to recognize different countries rating systems flaws because you aren't affected by them in any way. This Film Is Not Yet Rated is about MPAA (Motion Picture Association of America) and the cartel behind it's systems. This documentary points you the absurdity, corruptedness, twistedness and closemindedness of it all. Definitely recommended. You've heard the saying it could only happen in America? I'd heard people bitching about the MPAA before but I had never read up on the organisation and had no idea just how dumb an idea the whole set up is. The KKK are a knitting circle compared to this bunch of numb-nuts. Interesting documentary though.
