This was a good film, which I took longer than planned to watch. I remember when it was being filmed here in Victoria - mostly because I was going to school when the crew invaded our campus....a campus that was used for the "university" exterior shot, yet is on the college campus and was not credited in the movie. Yet, the University is in the list of special thanks. Go figure.

This was a good film, which I took longer than planned to watch. This is an excellent film about a man trying to reconnect to the last members of his family, after travelling from England to Vancouver Island (Victoria) in order to be presented with an honorary degree. There are a lot of flashbacks to his past, and the flashbacks are well done, and flow really well with the story line in the present.” read more
