"24/9/17 Cracking stiff upper lip version of the events during World War II that led to the mass evacuation of France from Dunkirk. John Mills stars as the corporal leading a small group of men through the French countryside in order to escape the oncoming Germans while Bernard Lee and Richard Attenborough head over the sea in their private boats. More propagnda than Chris Nolan's film but just as powerful."
