This is one of the cooler version of Dracula that I've seen. The story of Vlad and that blood-red armor makes a great visual for the makings of his slip into darkness. Gary Oldman is great in that part, being able to play the proper piece as well as the raving lunatic, and everywhere in-between.

I can remember it as if it was yesterday. There was indeed a huge buzz before this movie was released but, unfortunately, it didn't turn out to be the masterpiece that so many of us hoped for. Basically, there is one major issue with Francis Ford Coppola. These creatures do not die like the bee after the first sting, but instead grow strong and become immortal once infected by another nosferatu. So, my friends we fight not one beast but legions that go on age after age after age, feeding on the blood of the living. "

"Escenas tontas, y escenas bastante ingeniosas. Muy Buenas las actuaciones, algunas muy tontas (como el tono general de la película) pero cumplen."

" Gorgeously erotic and Gothic version of Bram Stoker's book with silent movie techniques and exquisite sets, costumes and make-up without ever going "over the top" (even if the deleted scenes portray how easily THAT could have happened). It is easily one of the best-looking films of the entire Dracula-canon on film. The film is filled with a impressive cast list but it is Sadie Frost who blows everyone out of the movie as the doomed Lucy. I also love the theme song from Annie Lennox, "Love Song"
