The whole time I was watching this movie, I kept thinking that I had already seen it. Reminded me a lot of Resident Evil, Alien, and maybe one or two others.
Nothing special and The Rock showcased some of the worst acting I've seen him attempt.
The end where they emulate the game is cool and the only memorable thing about the film.

Horrible

The trailer is really good, but the movie is not.
When you see the trailer you expect that the whole movie will be in a 1st person view, but only the last 15minutes are.

An average movie

To be honest, I find it rather difficult to judge this flick. Indeed, like most of the video-game movie adaptations, the whole thing had a really lousy reputation so I was an expecting something pretty terrible. And yet, it was one of those cases that I was expecting something so bad, that I end up actually being positively surprised by the movie. I mean, sure, it is not a good movie at all but i... read more

" The most entertaining 3D shoot 'em up computer game I ever played become a film, but to be honest the game didn't have a story to begin with so I'm not surprised this film is mostly about shooting monsters. More surprising is the acting talent onboard as Karl Urban is always trustworthy in doing excellent work in everything he does. Rosamund Pike is hot too and there is a cool first person shooter 3D sequence taken directly from the video game that kind-of ends the film. The boring bland studi"

The future kind of sucks. (362 movies items)

"Reason for the future sucking: Some idiots who are on Mars, open a gate way, to some dimension, to some hellish place, become demons, Karl Urban has to save them, blah, blah, blah. You're just better off, playing the game, instead. Year it takes place: 2046"

" Now, this film I REALLY haven't seen in a long time. I guess it's easy enough to say that I thought it was entertaining as well, some sort of guilty pleasure. Probably."
