Director Tony Scott is no stranger to the realm of action cinema. He's also no stranger to the plague of "style over substance". Since I have a weak spot for Tony Scott's work, I was really eager to check this flick. For once, Scott decided to make a movie without Denzel Washingtion and to hire Mickey Rourke instead who was making his comeback back then. To start with, I think it was a really awesome story. Great movie Starring Keira Knightley as Domino Harvey, a girl from Los Angeles set on nothing but to be a bounty hunter. Seeing what she does towards the film’s beginning after finding out the class she paid for was nothing but a rip off unlocks the door that is about to be shattered with all the action in the 2 plus hours of this movie. “Since I have a weak spot for Tony Scott's work, I was really eager to check this flick. For once, Scott decided to make a movie without Denzel Washingtion and to hire Mickey Rourke instead who was making his comeback back then. To start with, I think it was a really awesome story. I mean, a model who decides to become a bounty hunder, it doesn't get better than this. It was also nice to see Keira Knightley trying something completely different than her usual costume dramas and I thought she was quite convincing. Furthemore, the directing was visually rather impressive, really kinetic with a nice use of colors. Unfortunately, the whole thing remained rather trashy and shallow. Indeed, Scott shows how badass Domino has become but he doesn't get further than that and we never get to really kn” read more

"The only good thing that I can say about this movie is that one of my favourite beauties, Keira Knightly, is in it.
