''Oh man, I can't fucking believe this. Another basement, another elevator. How can the same shit happen to the same guy twice?''

John McClane is forced to battle mercenaries who seize control of an airport's communications and threaten to cause plane crashes if their demands are not met.

"Just once, I'd like a regular, normal Christmas. Eggnog, a fuckin' Christmas tree, a little turkey. But, no. I gotta crawl around in this motherfuckin' tin can."

The original Die Hard is an action blockbuster that rapidly became both a critical and commercial success. The prevailing philosophy of Hollywood movie studios is fairly straightforward: if there's an unexpected hit on the... read more

Very much a worthy sequel to Die Hard, this film is my favourite setting for a Die Hard film out of the quadrilogy. McClane is back and once again his christmas is cursed by pesky terrorists who seize control of Dulles airport. McClane appears to meet his wife who is flying in for the holidays when the airport is seized by militants who prove their authority by crashing an incoming aeroplane into ... read more

John McClane is an off-duty cop gripped with a feeling of déjà vu when on a snowy Christmas Eve in the nation's capital, terrorists seize a major international airport, holding thousands of holiday travelers hostage. Renegade military commandos led by a murderous rogue officer plot to rescue a drug lord from justice and are prepared for every contingency except one: McClane's smart-mouthed heroics.

"Original: "Yippy kaiyay, motherfucker." Censored: multiple versions Actually I can think of more than one example. There is of course the "Mr. Falcon" version. The big MF has also been changed to "monkey funker", "mother chicken", and "Mr. Sucker." I'm sure there have been others."

"First viewing - Dec. 27th I could have sworn I saw this already, but as it rolled along I realized I hadn't. I do recall that when it came out my dad never took me to see it, and I can only conclude that I saw so many ads for it over the years that it became familiar enough that I figured I'd seen the entire thing. And yet I gave it an accurate rating. It's a big step down from the first film, and never reaches the excellence of the sequel that followed it. Most of it is predictable, and the pl"

" It's the holiday season, and for John McClane that means that it's time for him to become a pain in the collectives asses of a group of sophisticated terrorists, to a police force of typical movie bumblers, not to mention to that one guy who played the dad on Good Times. Bruce Willis reprises the role of the lone wolf "modern cowboy" cop who always manages to find himself crawling through air-vents, systematically taking out bad guys one by one, and escaping the one clutch after another of de"
