"The original french film was not only suspenceful, but managed to draw you in and actually like the lead female characters. The remake does not.
Despite de fact that it had a star studded cast (Sharon Stones, Chaz Palmintieri, Cathy Bates, etc) The script failed the actors and the actors just could not make it belieavable nor entertaining. "

Plot: The wife and mistress of a cruel school master collaborate in a carefully planned and executed attempt to murder him.
Location: West Virginia boarding school
