"A really enjoyable movie. Albert Brooks and Meryl Streep are perfect together. Rip Torn is fantastic as Brooks' defender. Really, if I had to choose one flaw, I'd say the score was a little overbearing at times. The better a movie is, the more nitpicky the complaint. It's just a really solid movie that just makes you feel good inside.

"This movie interested me for one main reason- almost every scene involved food. The plot is after you die, you go to this after-life for a week or so to "defend" your life (so you can be reincarnated to a better life). While you are there, you get to eat pretty much whatever you want, too.
This is the only pic I can find where they are eating, but they do eat a lot in this movie!

"This is a great movie. Meryl Streep gives a really good performance, and I loved the concept of limbo being part of a bureaucracy. The court scenes are pretty good, and it manages to be really funny compared to other movies about the afterlife. "
