2012 Movie Diary - April (53 movies items)"Hhmm... I really liked it, but I expected it to better/sadder. Oh well, Channing Tatum shirtless and Amanda Seyfried - makes up for it! Love them both! Very dramatic though... "
“Beforehand, I wasn't expecting much from this flick but since I have a weak spot for Lasse Hallstrom, I thought I should check it out anyway. Eventually, I thought it was rather average and sappy romantic flick. I mean, the directing is decent, Channing Tatum and Amanda Seyfried are both quite charming and are both doing their best but what a borefest... Everything they say, everything they do was rather plot driven, in my opinion. Furthermore, there was also a subplot involving autism which was rather poorly developped. It is a dear subject to me (as a matter of fact, my step-son is autistic) and if you are going to tackle this difficult subject, you either have to do a good job or drop the whole thing alltogether.
