Since I'm a huge fan of 'Cube', I was really eager to watch this flick also directed by Vincenzo Natali. One again, it was a SF thriller but this time, they have added some industrial espionage to the mix. It was definitely an interesting combo and the beginning was indeed rather spellbinding. Indeed, they managed to create a fascinating world and I was never sure what was real and what I should b... read more

Overall opinion: Comically bad
My comments on this came out longer than I expected but look at it this way: you can not watch this bad movie and compared to the 95 minutes you just saved yourself, reading the next few paragraphs is no time at all.
It amuses me to no end that Netflix brags about this movie winning an award and it baffles me that there are 4 out of 5 star reviews for it. Some reviewers even called it a masterpiece. I wonder what their stan"

An unexpected movie that was pretty good. Very Matrix-y. You really have to pay attention, though, otherwise you'll be lost in all of the different identities."

Indeed, if the beginning was intriguing, the ending was messy, rather boring and far from being satisfactory. To be honest, I'm not sure if we should blame Jeremy Northam who gave a decent performance. Eventually, even though it really had some potential, the w” read more

Liu on aika tasaisen varma"
"Director Vincenzo Natali followed up his brilliantly nightmarish 1997 horror, Cube, with the desperately underrated sci-fi dystopia of Cypher five years later.
Jeremy Northam is excellent as Morgan Sullivan, a mild-mannered accountant who finds an escape from his dull suburban existence by signing up as a corporate spy for a shadowy organisation called Digicorp. Revelling in his newfound freedom, Sullivan, now known as Jack Thursby, enjoys his apparently pointless task of secretly taping presen"
