This was the last movie directed by the late John Hughes. Honestly, I'm not really a fan of his work and it must be his worst picture I have seen. James Belushi is not among my favorite actors and he didn't blew my mind once again here. The whole thing was just so sentimental and, above all, just plain boring, I didn't care at all about the story or the characters involved. Not really worth a look... read more

"January 17 "You want to know the rest of the story? I'm not her father. I met her mother one night in a bar. Some people get VD from a one-night stand, I got a baby." This movie has been in my want to watch list because it was one of the John Hughes movies I hadn't seen, but didn't expect much because I can't stand Jim Belushi. The opening was good, but after that the movie was just OK. Belushi's character isn't likable and most of the humor is just mildly amusing. This was where John Hughes"
