My Top 20 Favorite Horror Movies (20 movies items)

" "This is going to be extremely painful, Mr. Verrill!" I love anthology horror movies and this is definitely one of the best. It's the perfect mix of creepy and funny. It also has a great cast of actors you would not usually think of when t comes to horror like Leslie Nielsen, Ted Danson and Ed Harris. My favorite segment of the movie has to be The Lonesome Death of Jordy Verrill. It's the one starring Stephen King. Who knew he could be such a funny actor."

"19.4. The first thing to know is that these are comedic horror tales, not to be taken all that seriously. Stephen King's stories are macabre comedies. Romero does his best as putting these stories together. Some are better than others. Father's Day. 3/5. fun little zombie-tale about murdered patriach getting even with family by raising from his grave. The Lonesome Death of Jordy Verrill. 3/5. Redneck yokel (played by Stephen King) gets invated by plant-like organism. Something to Tide You "

100 favorite horror films (100 movies items)

""Where's my cake?" On a technical level, Creepshow might be George Romero's most accomplished film. It so completely captures the look and feel of the old EC horror comics that inspired it. Most anthology horror films have a weak link, that one story that isn't as good as the others, but this one doesn't. Each story is amazing, thanks to Stephen King's humorous and witty script and love of the source material. If I had to pick a favorite of the bunch, it would be "The Crate", the tale of a la"

"First Viewing Viewed: February 19th Plot: Inspired by the E.C. comics of the 1950s, George A.Romero and Stephen King bring five tales of terror to the screen. Stephen King and George A. Romero. Those two names alone should excite any horror fan worth their salt, and entice them to watch this anthology of horror shorts. Creepshow is thick in atmosphere, flavour, and above all creativity, and the '80s sensibility only heightens its charm in today's cinematic age of try-hard PG-13 horrors. As w"
