Back in the late eighteis this is the sort of film we expected from Eddie Murphy. A classy comedic romp through the streets of America. If he wasn't playing a sex crazed maniac or lovable police detective, he was playing a roguish prince hell bent on learning the customs of a strange new country whilst looking for a respectable wife.

These are the films that made Eddie Murphy famous, it's just a shame that, as time progressed, Eddie Murphy's acting didn't and he's now churning out rubbish like Norbit.
