O artista plástico britânico Marc Pierce tinha uma idéia na cabeça, voluntários angariados através do Facebook, apenas uma câmera na mão ( a segunda quebrou), e o equivalente a US$ 74: “Nós compramos um pé-de-cabra e uns rolos de fita. Compramos também chá e café, para manter os zumbis bem dispostos durante as filmagens”.

"Colin definitely deserves some attention for being something totally new in its genre. But still I can't get over the amateur quality of the film. But at least the story is interesting and the main actor does good job. "

Exibido durante um festival de terror no País de Gales onde seus organizadores o recomendaram para um agente, chegou com uma sessão vazia em Cannes, mas causou burburinho suficiente para uma oferta de distribuição do filme na Grã-Bretanha. “Colin” mostra a perspectiva do zumbi em sua nova condição trôpega, e sua irmã, que o leva para casa na tentativa de ativar alguma memória afetiva para fazê-lo voltar ao normal.
