To be perfectly honest, I was unsure of what to expect out of this film. All I could say is that it would be a bit like The Golden Compass which is what it did turn out to be. The only difference is that The Golden Compass was a lot better. City Of Ember is one of those films that are visually amazing but doesn't greatly focus on the plot and characters. When it came out, it was a huge flop but it was rather intriguing so I decided to check it out anyway. First of all, it is a quite gorgeous flick. There are some awesome sets and they have created a rather impressive world. The main issue, in my opinion, is that the movie was actually too short and all the sub-plots were barely developped. "10.11 Tämähän oli varsin toimivaa fantasiaseikkailua, jonka parissa tämä puolitoista tuntia meni erittäin ripeään tahtiin. Visuaalisesti on onnistuttu kaikin puolin ja hyvät musiikit tukevat näyttävää elokuvaa.
