Since I'm a huge fan of Tarkovsky, and I mean HUGE fan, I really couldn't miss this film; it's directed by Chris Marker (he made La Jetee and Sans Soleil) and narrated by Herzogian actress, Eva Mattes. I thought that the documentary was actually really good. It gave great insight into not only Tarkovsky's films but Tarkovsky himself, and it also helped me understand his films even more. I thought that the documentary was actually really good. It gave great insight into not only Tarkovsky's films but Tarkovsky himself, and it also helped me understand his films even more. It also reminded me that I have to re-watch all of his films, which I think I'll do that at the very beginning of 2014.

The film was at its most interesting when it showed the clips from Tarkovsky's films. There were some dull moments, admittedly, and if it weren't for my love for Tarkovsky's films I would despise this one; I felt that this film was mainly just to show the conventions in which Tar” read more
