“Even though it is a rather unknown flick, since I have a weak spot for Cate Blanchett, I was really eager to check this one out. Eventually, even though it is a rather decent tale about the French resistance, it is nothing original and, honestly, rather stereotypical and, as a result, the whole thing was rather disappointing. By stereotypical, I mean that the French people is portrayed as either brave resistance fighters or worthless collaborators but I'm afraid the reality was a little more complex than that. Furthermore, even though Cate Blanchett delivered a solid performance, it was rather difficult to judge if she was good or not. Indeed, she is supposed to portray a British spy in France but the French guys don't look or sound French at all (indeed, expect for a few words, they all ” read more
