The Best of 40's (40 movies items)

" 1940's is the decade of the most iconic films ever made. Without a doubt, Casablanca is one of these most iconic films in the film history and it is such a cliché to include this film in this kind of lists. But that is a cliché that I wasn't even planning to avoid. Two incredible actors - Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman - together in the same film and having one of the greatest love stories ever. Mystery in the story is thrilling and so the whole film has its own atmosphere."

these dialogues make me see the movie again!!! (36 movies items)

"Rick: Last night we said a great many things. You said I was to do the thinking for both of us. Well, I've done a lot of it since then, and it all adds up to one thing: you're getting on that plane with Victor where you belong. Ilsa: But, Richard, no, I... I... Rick: Now, you've got to listen to me! You have any idea what you'd have to look forward to if you stayed here? Nine chances out of ten, we'd both wind up in a concentration camp. Isn't that true, Louie? Captain Renault: I'm afraid Major "

The Best Movies Ever, chosen by 94 actors (110 movies items)

" Quote: My favorite film is of all time is Casablanca. That's Humprey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman. I love the lines, the dialogs. It's full of dialogs. I mean, the most famous one is round up the usual suspect 'this could be the start of a beautiful frienship'. My favorite one is the love scene between Bogart and Bergman and she says 'I'll always remember Paris' and Humprey Bogart says 'I remember every detail. The Germans wore gray, you wore blue.' That was my favorite line. (Michael Caine) P"

Alternate Best Picture Winners (1927-Today) (170 movies items)

"An interesting story here. Even though this is one of the greatest films ever made and deserved to win Best Picture, there's only one problem: It won for 1943 when it was a 1942 movie. Therefore, it should have won for 1942 rather than 1943."
