A classic

“It is basically one of those typical screwball comedies from the 30's. The plot is rather ridiculous but it is supposed to be so and it shouldn't be taken too seriously. I must say that, during the first 10 minutes, I wasn't really convinced by Cary Grant playing a nerd. But then, when Katherine Hepburn finally showed up, I was rather blown away. Indeed, I thought she was pretty amazing and together, they had some really awesome comedic chemistry and the whole thing was just hilarious. Honestly, it has been a while since I laughed so much. However, during the second half, it tends to loose steam but it remained pretty enjoyable anyway. To conclude, even though I'm not a big fan of those screwballs comedies, this one is a classic and I really enjoyed it and it is definitely worth a look, es” read more
