Though I generally enjoy watching romantic comedies, they're not usually the genre that I will add to favourites or movies I will extol the virtues of. But this is just one of those comedies that sticks with you, and as women, there are far too many parts of Bridget's life we can relate too. The movie is well done and the comedy well balances the heartaches. I have to say, though, that I love Renee Zellweger as Bridget, but have despised her in every other role.

Great adaptation!

This is one of the few movies that I've seen that has transferred over from book to movie well. Great acting by all as well as great music selections.
I just wish the sequel would have turned out as well. :(
