On second watch it hits home just how amazingly bizarre this film is. Only Neil Jordan could mix the topics of transgender and the IRA twice in one career and come out smelling of roses. Cillian Murphy is a riot in this flick and makes one hell of a convincing woman.

Honestly, in my opinion, there were way too many under-developped story lines but I still liked it. And what a great perfomance provided by Cillian Murphy ! He is definitely one of the most talented actors at work right now. He is completely believable here and carries the whole movie. Definitely worth a look.
