"Brainscan, c'est une p'tite oeuvre maladroite avec laquelle Andrew Kevin Walker (Se7en, 8MM, Sleepy Hollow) se fait la main. On y retrouve d'ailleurs ses thématiques de prédilection, mais malheureusement pas sa rigueur d'écriture. Le sujet du film est particulièrement con et les genres s'y côtoient allègrement, si bien qu'on ne sait plus trop comment se sentir dans cet amalgame hasardeux entre premier et deuxième degré. “This movie was alright. I kinda grew up with it and I loved it as a kid so it's hard for to rate it badly. After just watching it again I 100% believe I would have given this a 4/5 if it wasn't for that lame ass character Trickster. He ruins the whole movie by adding his "comedy" to it and dancing around. Plus I can't stand his voice. I remember having a massive crush on the character Kimberly. She has this boy that lives across the street from her that she likes a lot and even when she knows he's turned into a serial killer she still says she loves him....as he's just about to kill her.
