Since it was the last movie made by Scorsese which I hadn't see it yet, I was definitely eager to check this flick. It is really unfortunate that it ended up being one of his weakest movies. Indeed, after making his directing debut, 'I call first', Scorsese did struggle to make something else and, after 5 years, he finally manage to make this flick. “Since it was the last movie made by Scorsese which I hadn't see it yet, I was definitely eager to check this flick. It is really unfortunate that it ended up being one of his weakest movies. Indeed, after making his directing debut, 'I call first', Scorsese did struggle to make something else and, after 5 years, he finally manage to make this flick. Basically, it is a typical exploitation feature from the 70's produced by Roger Corman, and as a result, the story was pretty weak but it is definitely inherent to the genre. I mean, it is not that it was really bad but you can feel that Scorsese was still searching himself. Still, there were here and there some very nice scenes and Barbara Hershey gave a very refreshing performance with her contagious smile. It is said that after watching this” read more
