The Bond movies are noted for their pre-credits sequences and Spectre is no exception in that respect.  The opening scenes in Mexico City are quite spectacular and technically brilliant, featuring a fantastic lengthy tracking shot which lasts for several minutes without any edits.  The choreography is extremely accomplished and the action quite gripping.  It's arguably one of the best opening s... read more

After the little disappointment of previous Skyfall, Spectre was better and at least some secret weapons that made 007 famous returned, though in part .
I like the new characters of M and Q, also Moneypenny not bad, the prime minister was hateful, (well was his work) and at the end I was happy they stopped him.
Great action on Mexico, Rome car chase and in the snow of the Alps. Mon... read more

Movie Reviews (1401-1450) (50 movies items)

" Another excellent shot 007 movie with beautiful sets, decor, costumes, locations and Monica Belluci as a true Bond woman - the best since Eva Green. I like the story which hints at a lot of emotion and drama that is about to break out, but the film is also underwhelming as it is hit by the "James Bond Curse" of being too long and some scenes drag. Blofeld is a character with infinite potential, gruesomeness and terror but his entire appearance here limps on one leg and never is fulfilled as if "

2015 Films - Best to Worst (70 movies items)

"Spectre is most definitely the most "traditional" Bond film out of Daniel Craig's entries. Everything in it is very familiar, and in that sense, it doesn't necessarily stand out as much as Casino Royale and Skyfall. It is still very competent work though, and there are several moments that are downright awesome to look at. There's particularly a fight scene on a train that I thought was extremely exhilarating. Craig is just as great as ever. He's really owning the role so much that it's starti"

Movies Of 2017 (175 movies items)

"Second time watching this and still as good as the first viewing. That long shot in the beginning was great, which I like in movies. Action is entertaining as always in Bond movies. It's also good to see that there's few classic funny moments from the old Bond movies like that slowly driving old guy in Rome who's blocking Bond's getaway while he's been chased by a bad guy. Shared With Milady"
