It is one of those typical cheesy 80's movies. It is definitely not a masterpiece but still pretty enjoyable. Rutger Hauer is pretty good as usual since he is the king of the B movie. Definitely worth a look, especially if you are a fan of B action flicks.

This is the most idiotic movie I've seen - and entertaining as hell. The actors are awful (except for Hauer), the script is full of brainless stuff, the ending is sugary and the action's clumsiness with the cheap effects and all that reminds me of Cannon Group's Ninja-movies starring Sho Kosugi. So, what's more appropriate than having Mr. Kosugi himself making an appearance at the end of the movie? I know every fan of ninja movies wet themselves when that happens.

The main character of "Blind Fury" is basically a mix between Rambo and an action hero from some random 80's ninja film. That pretty much explains the film that is clearly one of the weaker ones in Phillip Noyce's career."
