Konseptit kuoleman jälkeisestä ajasta ja Puolan poliittisesta tilanteesta tuntuivat jotenkin huonosti yhteen sopivilta, vaikka peruslaadukkaasta työstä onkin kyse. "Kokopitkää Kieslowskia pitkästä aikaa ja kyllä taas maistui niin perkalaan hyvältä. Tuliaisina toin elokuvan itselleni Brittein saarilta, sillä ei Suomessa liiku elokuvasta DVD-painosta lainkaan. Grazyna Szapolowskan roolisuoritusta ei vain voi ylistää tarpeeksi. Kaikki se tuska, epätoivo ja harvainen toivonpilke on jotain kerrassaan uskomatonta.
