I have never been a fan of this franchise. Actually, I didn´t even really like the first one which is considered a classic. I thought it was not bad but nothing mindblowing whatsoever. My favorite would be the action packed sequel directed by Tony Scott. "December 16 This wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be, but it still isn't good. The main problem is that it barely feels like a Beverly Hills Cop movie. It feels like a movie about Eddie Murphy hanging out at an amusement park. Has some mildly funny jokes, but is worth skipping along with it's predecessor. This is so far the only John Landis movie I don't care for which is a shame because he is a good director."
