The final moments of "Beat the Devil" involve several characters receiving and reading a letter. The reactions of each to the letter steadily escalate in hilariousness, until finally Bogart reads it and starts laughing his ass off.
When the camera cuts back to show the letter's content, I'm laughing my ass off right along with Bogie. The words he then says between laughs make the scene even funnier and the ending even more lovable. "

"Bogart, Lorre and others travel - or should I say, mostly do NOT travel - around Africa doing absolutely nothing and cracking very lame and stupid jokes, probably very, VERY drunk. Anyone with a common sense should not enjoy this but luckily I'm not one of those people."

John Huston's parody "Beat the Devil" follows the adventures of a group of unlucky and awkward scoundrels, who are planning to travel to East Africa to tap into riches waiting for them. However, the boat is delayed because the captain is drunk and the ships's engine breaks down, but these troubles are only the beginning. For example, carelessly talking woman of the group causes troubles to pretty much everyone she meets and in one funny scene Humphrey Bogart's character encounters an"
