Finally a Resident Evil movie which is like the game and not those awful live action movies with fake characters like Alice. Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield most known from there appearance in Resident Evil 2. Leon S.Kennedy in one of my favorite of the Resident Evil games number 4. The story is pretty much what you would expect from Resident Evil in my opinion it is best that you go and Play Resident Evil 2 to understand this movie. People have said that the animation is bad I'm guessing they are blind because to me it looked fine and it some parts it looks beautiful. The only problem is when the people speak it's a bit out of sync. Bad animation, cheesy dialogue, bad voice acting and the none existence of any character development make this movie a bore for anyone but the undiscerning fanboys of the games. Think of all the bad Hollywood action movie cliches, put them together and your get this cheap piece of unoriginal junk. You'd think that the filmmakers would at least make an effort to make the animation look good. Instead, the 3D animation was so bad that at times it felt like I was watching action figures instead animated characters 'acting out' a scene. The characters had absolutely no facial expressions, and the accents the voice actors put on were just plain painful. In the end, this movie was made to make money off of the fanboys and nothing more.

Yes I have seen the movie even though it isn't out yet.(I have my ways) Audio was very good, nice solid punch to the TrueHD track. Vocals are clear and nice bass. Good use of surround. PQ very nice as well. Good vibrant colors with some amazing looking textures to the animation. Some slight color banding but that's what happens in animation especially with something this low budget. Plot was very good cleared up some things that weren't said in the games. But the whole thing felt a very long cut-scene on a game. But one thing that did annoy me and made the film look a little a bit lame was the lip syncing.
