A good movie

“I’m a huge fan of ‘American Beauty’ and I have been following Sam Mendes ever since. I must admit that I haven’t been really blown away by his following movies (expect maybe by ‘Revolutionary Road’ which was pretty impressive) but they were always worth a look. His last feature was similar in the sense that it was definitely not a masterpiece but I still enjoyed it anyway. The biggest issue I had was that all the supporting characters were so over the top, so caricatural, it was even not  funny and really not  interesting to behold. Furthermore, the two main characters seem to have an average income and still they manage to make this huge trip going to Phoenix, Montreal,  Miami,… Still, I enjoyed this movie.
