This movie started my hunger for Asian horror, not only was it disturbing, but it allowed me to watch something that was totally different from the Hollywood movies. I highly recommend this movie, but its not for the faint of heart.

I have seen more than 3500 movies in my life so far and this is easily the most horrible one. I won't describe what happened but it is just terrible. Compared to this, 'Saw' or 'Hostel' are like Disney movies. i must say that the beginning is rather slow and innocent but it makes the shocking ending even more effective. Ha! Ha! It makes me laugh just thinking about it. Very slow paced gentle comedy at the beginning. The jarring notes are well introduced. Introduction to Japanese women.

"January 28 "Words create lies. Pain can be trusted." I had never seen any of Takashi Miike's films, so I decided to start with his most well-known one. I really liked the writing in this movie and I was just into the story. I can't say I was shocked by the infamous torture scene, but I did feel a bit disturbed inside. So far this is probably the best Asian film I've seen and now I'm interested in seeing Miike's other work."
