Visually, this movie is outstanding. Artemisia gives you a look in to life as a 17th century artist; particularly as a young female artist.
Of course, the young pretty artist falls in love (or in lust) with her much older male teacher and they get in trouble.
Although the dialogue is french, you really don't need to have the subtitles on during this movie if you don't speak the lan... read more
