For the first 10 minutes, Antz made me smile, sometimes laugh, and for the most part, was quite enjoyable. My doubts towards the usually mediocre Dreamworks had faded; but only for a little bit. The quality dropped just a wee bit after the first 10 minutes, but I was still enjoying myself. The film holds up for another 20 minutes, and then it's rarely amusing again.

Loosely based on the novel Brave New World by Aldous Huxley, the setting for the story is an ant colony in Central Park in New York City, under the chronological timespan of 4 days. " 97% on Rotten Tomatoes. This is a film that I used to love as a kid. After watching it again, I was completely underwhelmed by it. While the animation is really good, I thought the pacing was too rushed and the overall story was boring. The characters were okay but not as memorable as I remembered."
