Game Over, Man! Game Over!

Posted : 7 months, 1 week ago at Apr 16 19:31
In this sequel to the non-plural installment of the series, Ripley, believe it or not, is back, and this time, she arms herself with some big guns & with an even bigger attitude of instead of squaring off against just one alien, she's taking on a whole hive full of them. And their momma too. And these aliens in question are the xenomorphs, a hive-race of deadly double-mouthed acid-blooded slick black visitors who tend to take the role of their hosts quite literally. For me, this 2nd. chapter to the Aliens saga is the high point of a franchise that features what is, IMO, one of the most unique & simply bad-ass alien life-forms ever produced for film. This movie has everything that I look forward to in a sci-fi adventure. Suspenseful action, solid story, distinct character...Read more

Get away from her, you bitch!! Directed by: James Cameron Starring: Sigourney Weaver, Michael Biehn, Lance Henriksen, Carrie Henn, Paul Resier Genre: Action/Horror/Sci Fi/Thriller Running time: 154 minutes My review: The only survivor of the Nostromos deadly encounter with the alien, Ripleys escape pod floats in space for 57 years. After being rescued, Ripley is stunned when her story is met with disbelief. Then all communication is lost with the colonsits who have settled on the alien planet. When the Company asks Ripley to accompany a team of high-tech colonial Marines back to LV-426, she refuses. But she ultimately realises that the only way to banish her fear is to confront it head on. Sigourney Weaver reprises her role as Ellen Ripley for one of the most comp...Read more

Perfect Sequel!

Ripley: Just tell me one thing, Burke. You're going out there to destroy them, right? Not to study. Not to bring back. But to wipe them out. Burke: That's the plan. You have my word on it. Ripley: All right, I'm in. The only survivor of the Nostromo, Ripley is discovered in deep sleep half a century later by a salvage ship. When she is taken back to Earth, she learns that a human colony was founded on the same planet where the aliens were first discovered. After contact with the colony is lost, she finds herself sent back to the planet along with a team of warriors bent on destroying the alien menace. Also looking for survivors along the way. Sigourney Weaver : Ellen Ripley 57 years after the events of the first film, Ellen Ripley is found and awakened from hyper sleep to di...Read more

LET'S ROCK!!!!

I absolutely cherish this film!!!

I can't remember a time in my life where this has let me down. I've watched it close to a thousand times and enjoy it thoroughly everytime.

The introduction of the USCM is one of its crowning achievements. The galaxy's most bad ass hombres to ever sail the cosmos. It is an utter shame though they only debut and star in this film.

Alien was superior for its horror connotations but Aliens manages to compliment the series with a spectacular action flick.

One of the greatest science fiction films of all time. Some of the most memorable hard arses ever to grace the big screen. The ultimate in interplanetary house cleaning equipment is shipped off to a doomed colonial planet with which contact has recently been lost.

Cue a testosterone filled pitched battle with the most ferocious alien species in the universe ending with a heroic last stand and desperate rescue attempt as Ripley rampages into the bowels of an alien hive to rescue the last surviving colonial girl on the planet. Non-stop tension, action and humour throughout. These were the days.
