Reviews of AlienQuite Scary.
"Alien" is a rather scary film. It has it's own kind of fear to it. A fear that can only be found while watching this specific film. You don't see this kind of a movie anywhere anymore. Th reason I find it scary, is because you don't actually see the alien until almost the end of the film. The build up of how scary you think the alien will be, is almost as frightening as seeing it. I was really frightened when I first saw the full grown version pop up in one of the scenes. H.R. Giger, the designer of the alien, really made it look real, and truly scary. If you want to know the honest truth, I was expecting it to be much better for some reason. I am not saying I didn't enjoy it, because I did. I am just saying it could have been better. I was not entertained the whole way through. I thought they could have showed the alien a little more, and added some more action to certain scenes. But other than that, it was a very good film, and probably Ridley Scott's best. 0 comments, Reply to this entry
One of the Best Monster Movies
This is a testiment to the monster/sci-fi movie genre. This is not only suspensful, but it started a sage that is still loved by so many today. I can watch this movie 10 times in a day and still love it by the last showing. This is just one of the great sci-fi classics. 0 comments, Reply to this entry
it's what you don't see...
This is still a scary movie, almost 28 years later. Ridley Scott did an amazing job of building up what you didn't see into something horrible, and when you *do* see it, it scares the audience... HR Giger's art makes this even more twisted and alien, and when all of the pieces are tied together, it makes for a helluva movie. 0 comments, Reply to this entry
Horrifying
Straight from the twisted mind of artist HR Giger, the science fiction horror bloomed into one of the biggest cult films of all time. Sigourney Weaver steps into space to deliver one of the most horrifying performances in the genre as the Aliens delivered themselves into the nightmares of people everywhere. 0 comments, Reply to this entry
