" March 27th Requires you undivided attention throughout, but untimely rewarding to watch. Recommended if you want to gather some knowledge as to how the crazy world of politics works, "It's all rather confusing"."

My Movie Diary 2011 (279 movies items)

"Apr.17 An exciting inside look at political intrigue in Washington D.C. starring a great ensemble of gentlemen Hollywood: Franchot Tone, Walter Pidgeon, Henry Fonda, Lew Ayres, Peter Lawford and Charles Laughton, among others. Tone is strikingly convincing as a seasoned President that he could’ve been one. Laughton’s is the juciest part though, as a vicarious Southern senator, he more than occupied the floor, he owned it."
