"Watched: 1/11/12 2nd Viewing Thoughts: A very well made, obscure little drama, featuring an absolutely magnificent Nicolas Cage, perhaps even his best performance as an actor that I've witnessed. This movie has it all, including a powerful message of desire flowing through every speckle, and a fantastic musical score. I'll admit, 'Adaptation' isn't as good as when I first viewed it, but the material is still presented at a very high standard, and remains a very good, re-watchable film. "

"Has it moments, but the "high point" of the movie is really weak and I just dont buy the twist. Seems so stupid. Come on, they snort the freaking flower? Some great momemts, such as Cage's dialog. The twin brother stuff seemed so pointless. 6/10 "

"yayy cage can act yayy! I found this movie very interesting and I liked it a lot. the end for me was a bit disappointing, I was so emotional, wished it had alternative acting besides I wasn't expecting such decision from meryl in the end either! was very surprising but lets not spoil the movie :D definitely worth a look"
