This remake of A Star is Born, the best of the three in my opinion, is a one-woman show of incredible skill. Judy Garland’s central performance provides a great example for the argument that acting is an art form. Not only does she get to sing and dance, she gets to make you laugh and cry. Even though I'm not a huge fan of musicals, since this one was a classic, I still wanted to check this out. Apparently, it is a very popular story and they have made already 3 different versions and Clint Eastwood is currently working on a 4th version which was supposed to starring Beyoncé. She dropped out recently but I don't think we really need yet again another remake, I don't think Clint Eastwood will make so many more movies and I'd rather him working on something new. That's the official versions but they are also so many movies following the same template such as the infamous 'Showgirls'. Anyway, back to the movie itself, I know it is a beloved classic and, indeed, it was quite entertaining but I honestly couldn't care much about the whole thing.
