"Far, far better than I was expecting. And quite a bit different as well. I wasn't expecting more than a standard stalk and slash thriller but it turns out to be anything but the sort and really is a tremendously fun adventure thriller with some great performances from Steve Zahn and Timothy Olyphant especially. Already fake suspense like this, cheat, and omits important scenes dialogues plant inaccurate and false. So much so that in its outcome, the director David Twohy had to do just a short cut to explain where the killers came from, and only then, showed cut scenes to circumvent the reasoning of the public. It’s called incompetence of foul play or screenplay. It’s a shame because the production is very well crafted, there is sure to achieve success in the surge, and the end can be considered as the propaganda film, electrifying. “I actually really liked the material. Otherwise, some scenes were pretty good but some others were rather awkward with some ridiculous dialogs. Furthermore, I don't think Milla Jovovich and Steve Zahn did make such a believable couple, they should have either dropped him or her. Than, there is is very predictable twist which really annoyed and makes you wonder if the whole movie made any sense. The funny thing is that, against my expectations, the movie got actually some momentum after this twist and became kind of exciting. All in all, it is actually a rather well made and entertaining thriller and if you don't pay too much attention to the story, you may end up having a good time.” read more
