I really liked the first "Nightmare on Elm street" but the first sequel was already a disappointment. The acting, the directing, the story, everything is very average. Only for Freddy Krueger's fans.

Mention the second ELM STREET film to a movie geek and they’ll probably look ponderous before exclaiming ‘oh yeah, the gay one!”. The reputation is totally deserved as well, but that doesn’t make it a bad film.

"Okay, so I haven't seen this one from beginning to end. But I wasn't impressed with what I did see. And I have heard some things... This is the Nightmare on Elm Street movie that is least talked about. It seems most of the franchise fans skip right over this one, and pretend it didn't happen. I'm sure there are folks that like it, but I haven't met one yet. Most horror fans seem to laud the first and the third films as their favorites, making this one somewhat of a sleeper... "
