"Watched 12.3 DVD Ylitti odotukseni. Ensiksi tämä vaikutti vain tavalliselta draamatrilleriltä, mutta totuus olikin toisenlainen. A History of Violence on hyvä tarina väkivallasta ja sen seurauksista. Kässäri on hyvin kirjoitettu ja se tasapainottelee mainiosti pilke silmäkulmassa (?) tehdyn draaman (joka ei aivan täysin vaikuttanut) ja hohdottoman ja yllättävän verisen, hyvin toteutetun toiminnan välillä.
