A Christmas Carol update feed
Film Diary - 2012 (391 movies items)"Date watched: 24th December, 2012 Project: None Why?: Well, it is on TV just now and I haven't seen this one yet. A Dickens adaptation to check off the list. Various actors in it I like. Director: Robert Zemeckis Thoughts: Disappointing. Sorry, just didn't "feel" this one. Would have preferred live action to the animation I think. And a straight-forward telling of the story. "
A Christmas Carol: Best to Worst (9 movies items)" Pros:- Animation is amazing. Highly detailed and smooth. The opening shot taking us through London is especially impressive. Plus, the 3D is highly effective. - Jim Carrey does a fairly impressive job playing so many parts - Really takes off from time to time Cons:- Few things really cheapen the experience, including awful slapstick and unbelievable action scenes. Scrooge is a stuntman? - Dialogue needed to be changed. It's far too dry - Fails to do anything daring with the source material"

I don't know how well I started, maybe I should start from other filming than animation, but I love Robert Zemeckis and I could not resist. I think the film was quite interesting. Certainly was spectacular visually. There were times that I was bored, there were moments that I was delighted. Definitely a good start and an end. The G"
