I went and saw this one at the IMAX and it looked incredibly cool but other than that it was pretty lame. I liked how they ripped it directly from the book as well but overall this movie just really wasn't the best. It's attempts at comedy were meager at best and Jim Carrey just gets really annoying throughout. The Ghost of Christmas Past was also very...disturbing. It sounded exactly like what I ... read more

"This is a great adaptation to the classic Christmas story. I really enjoy this film, as it stays fairly true to the original book. The downfall of this film comes when the director choose to lighten the dark moments of the story for the children audiences. I hate that Jacob Marley's character is made humorous due to his loose jaw, and I do not like that Scrooge is given a helium induced voice as he runs from the Ghost of Christmas Yet To Come. " An animated retelling of Charles Dickens classic novel about a Victorian-era miser taken on a journey of self-redemption, courtesy of several mysterious Christmas apparitions. This a pretty good voice cast and the the CGI was really good. This is probably the creepiest version of A Christmas Carol I have ever seen. The ghosts were disturbing, but my favorite always is The Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come. Pretty much the same as all the other ones, but still decent. "
