Description

Perfectly reasonable sequel to 2001 Space Odyssey shows a joint US and Russian team investigating what happened on Jupiter while their countries escalate conflict back home. The creator/alien welcomes more contact only to a certain point, making it clear that a new life form has been initiated whose evolution will remain off limits to warring man.
