2001: A Space Odyssey is incredible mess of movie, the writers Stanley Kubrick and Arthur C. Clarke obviously felt that a lot of random uninteresting long scenes make a whole film. " It doesn't make any sense. I know people say they find meaning in it, but to me this is like Evangelion's ending, it makes no sense and is supposedly philosophical/clever/ambiguous. Bullshit, it's just pretentious. Kubrick's cinematography is top-notch, though."
