(he's seen as a "lead" but other kids in the same film are worth mentioning, like Alex or Eric) not outstanding and there's not that much "acting" in this film but anyway
Young actors that delivered a good performance in an independent film during this past decade. I'll be adding more.

I tried to stay away from big names (there aren't many anyway!) The ones here that are/became/are becoming more well known are: Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Evan Rachel Wood, Abigail Breslin & Paul Dano, and Michael Pitt (is he well known? I'm biased!). And Gael García Bernal, obviously, whom I almost forgot to put up because of that (the obviousness! isn't he big?!).

many of them i haven't seen---i consider millions, juno,& billy elliot all 5 star movies, and little miss sunshine a 4.---- all because of the young stars.
