also, chagall's 'la mariee' appears in notting hill.

and i believe you'll find some good material in thomas crown.

Good list, the theme is really interesting.
Heat is another film with a scene inspired by a painting: "Pacific" by Alex Colville.

Wow, I had no idea some of these shots were inspired by paintings. Joe Vs. the Volcano has a similar shot although it's not of a real painting.
