1. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974)
Actor: Gunnar Hansen!

Character: Leatherface!

Sometimes just one is enough. I mean, you don't have to have a lenghty career like Morgan Freeman or Tom Cruise in order to carve your name in Hollywood. This giant from Iceland gave life to one of the most creepiest, most iconic horror villain onscreen that is not matched by any other horror icon!

2. Mad Max (1979)
Actor: Hugh-Keays Byrne!

Character: Toecutter!

Any actor who stands up against Mel Gibson and turns out to be better than Mr. Gibson has to be treated with respect - and fear LOL! Anyways, Mr. Byrne portrayed Toecutter, the violent - yet eccentric - gang leader in the apocalyptic Mad Max!

3. Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome (1985)
Actor: Edwin Hodgeman!

Character: Dr. Dealgood!

Oh man, you have no idea how much i love these one-type character actors and Mr. Hodgeman is no exception. His very brief appearance before & after the classic Thunderdome fight b/w Blaster & Max is one of those performances to which you cry "He Nailed It!"... I got a little bit of flamboyant ideas from his character!

4. Groundhog Day (1993)

This video says everything!

5. Frankenstein (1931)
Actor: Colin Clive!

Character: Henry Frankenstein!

Colin Clive's portrayal of the mad scientist Dr. Frankenstein started the whole Mad Scientist's we have in the media and has become a very valuable stock-character! Kudos!

+ He is also the originator of the legendary quote:

"It's Alive! It's Alive"

And another - although less parodied and more (then) controversial:

"Now i know what it's like to BE God"

6. The Exorcist (1973)
Actress: Linda Blair!

Character: Regan McNeill / Satan!

Even though she had a healthy career + an Oscar nomination she is still, to this day, best remembered for playing Regan who get's possessed by Satan!

7. Silent Night, Deadly Night Part 2 (1987)
Actor: Eric Freeman!

Character: Ricky Caldwell!

Oh well, unlike the others he was a fail. Apologies! The reason for inclusion is this:

This has become a strong internet meme that fails to stop!

Of course, suggestions are welcome!
