1532 8.9 9.4 Game of Thrones is an HBO adaptation of American author George R.R. Martin's epic fantasy novel series A Song of Ice and Fire. The show explores a medieval-like fantasy world with its plethora of characters all struggling in the only game that matters--the game of thrones. And in this game you either win or you die, there is no middle ground. Recently watched: 3x07 Rewatching: 2x10 _____________________ Epic. I'm a big fan of medieval settings, in addition with fantasy elements this becomes the perfect show for me. Not many episodes left. Elena and her 15-year-old brother, Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen), live with their Aunt Jenna (Sara Canning). Elena seeks comfort from her familiar social circle – best friend Bonnie (Katerina Graham), frenemy Caroline Forbes (Candice Accola), and former boyfriend Matt Donovan(Zach Roerig, Friday Night Lights). At Mystic Falls High, Elena and her friends become fixated by a mysterious new student, Stefan Salvatore (Paul Wesley, "Fallen"). Stefan and Damon(Ian Somerhalder, Lost) are vampire brothers – one good, one evil – at war for Elena's soul. Recently watched: 4x22 _____________________ This is my favorite one. :) Finally the story continues. Season 4 starts almost as great as the previous ones. How can they always raise the tension? 258 7.1 7.5 A supernatural crime drama involving a police detective (played by David Giuntoli) who can see the dual nature of creatures among us hiding in human form. As the descendant of the Grimms, he can see their inner natures. He also has the responsibility of being judge, jury, and sometimes executioner for crimes among these "others" for which there are no human laws that apply. Recently watched: 2x21 _____________________ I like the fairytale setting of the story. The crime genre is also pretty decently carved out. Nevertheless, this series seems quite interesting. Many scenes I feel embarassed for and maybe the show is a bit TOO girly... I like how the story develops though. 677 7.8 8.9 Oz chronicles life inside an experimental cell block in the Oswald Maximum Security Correctional Facility: Level Four called Emerald City. Under unit manager Tim McManus and Warden Leo Glynn, the inmates in Em City all struggle to fulfill their own needs. Some fight for power; either power over the drug trade or power over the other inmate factions. Others want money, either through slinging 'tits' (drugs), gambling or other scams. Others, Corrections officers and inmates alike, simply want to survive long enough to make parole or even to see tomorrow. The show gives a no-holds-barred account of prison life with all the plots, subplots and conflicts given context and explaination by the show's wheelchair-bound narrator, Augustus Hill. Recently watched: 1x05 _____________________ Oz is a show that is recommended a lot. I think the show is okay. I don't know yet if it's worth watching all seasons but I'll continue watching since I like shows and films taking place in prison. I'm not yet convinced, though. fuzzkins's rating:

The show focuses on Jeff's experiences attending fictional "Greendale Community College" in Greendale, Colorado and the people he meets there. John Oliver plays Duncan, a professor at the community college, whom Jeff represented as a lawyer. He also meets a girl, Britta, who is his main love interest in the series, as well as Pierce (Chevy Chase), an aging moist-towelette tycoon who has been married seven times. Recently watched: 4x13 _____________________ This show is legendary. I'm so glad it's back, didn't even notice an actual air date. Seems like Chevy Chase is involved in a few episodes. With a new sense of fearlessness based on his medical prognosis, and a desire to secure his family's financial security, White chooses to enter a dangerous world of drugs and crime and ascends to power in this world. The series explores how a fatal diagnosis such as White's releases a typical man from the daily concerns and constraints of normal society and follows his transformation from mild family man to a kingpin of the drug trade. Young Justice follows the adventures of the teenaged superheroes Aqualad (the team leader, age 15 or 16), Robin (age 13), Kid Flash (age 15), Superboy (age 16 weeks), Miss Martian (age 16 in Martian years), and Artemis (age 15), who have finally gained independence from their leaders and the privilege to start their own covert operations team (of the very popular Justice League). The series tells the sagas of Ragnar's band of Viking brothers and his family, as he rises to become King of the Viking tribes. As well as being a fearless warrior, Ragnar embodies the Norse traditions of devotion to the gods, legend has it that he was a direct descendant of Odin, the god of war and warriors. Looks promising despite the low budget effects. Loved the story of the other seasons. And that's it... Liked the ending, was a bit sad though. I would love a sequel... :( fuzzkins's rating:
